Knowledge is Power

This blog is mainly to share my experiences in the pursuit of a career as a Computer Security Professional and to hold whatever ramblings I see fit to post.
I wanted to set this up because the idea of security and being secure interests me, especially today when there are Trojans, Viruses and other malicious code running wild. It is so much more exciting than watching those "reality" shows on television. Whether people realise it or not this is the true "Reality". We do eveything on computers.
We bank.
We shop.
We get news.
We find Love.

But only a small percentage of the people using the internet and its tools really know how much of "...a babe in the woods." we are.
We have such low impulse control and patience that people will hok hardware to their systems with out changing the default settings and then go online banking....
Talk about ringing the dinner bell!!!

I don't know this is my first blog...
Hopefully over time I will make more sense out of my thoughts and what I want out of this...
If not.... too damn bad.
